PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom unit that makes an operator recognize visitor information even if a notification means is unable to give notice of the visitor information indicating a visit. SOLUTION: The intercom device includes: intercoms 2a and 2b which acquire visitor information; a display 16 and a speaker 17 which give notice of the visitor information; a communication means 20 which communicates with another device capable of giving notice of visitor information; and a control means 10 which controls the communication means 20 to instruct the other device to give notice of the visitor information when deciding that the display 16 and speaker 17 are unable to give notice of the visitor information when the visitor information is obtained. Even when the display 16 and speaker 17 are unable to give notice of the visitor information, the other device is instructed to give notice of the visitor information, so that the other device can give notice of the visitor information.
