SOLUTION: A hue-dependent color adjustment processing circuit has a space discrimination part for determining a hue space from an input Cr signal and Cb signal to output a space discrimination signalγ, a hue difference calculation part for generating a hue difference signalηfrom the Cr signal and Cb signal, and an external CPU for outputting space discrimination conditions and static coefficients and outputting color adjustment matrix delta coefficients prepared for every hue; and further has a dynamic coefficient generation part for multiplying those selected by the space discrimination signalγfrom the input color adjustment matrix delta coefficients by the hue difference signalηto generate and output dynamic coefficients, an adder for adding up the dynamic coefficients and the static coefficients to generate color adjustment matrix coefficients, and a color adjustment matrix processing part for making color adjustments to input signals with the color adjustment matrix coefficients.
