PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency heating device allowable for proper heating control in various kinds of heating cooking. SOLUTION: In the process of a steam cooling course of a microwave oven, heating is first carried out for a heating time H:TM only with a magnetron oscillating microwaves at a high output. In this period, a radiation antenna is originally located at a lower position where the microwaves are supplied to local portions of a heating chamber but its position is changed to an "upper" position where the microwaves are supplied to the whole heating chamber when the temperature of a cover covering foods reaches 90°C. During a time when the position of the radiation antenna is changed, the oscillation of the microwaves with the magnetron is stopped. After the high output heating for the heating time H:TM, low output heating (heating control with the magnetron oscillating the microwaves at a low output) is carried out for a heating time L:TM.
