PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of being easily cleaned even when liquid matter stored in a refrigerating chamber at the upper part drips on a compartment plate on a specific low temperature chamber. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a refrigerating chamber having article placement shelves disposed in multiple stages is formed in a refrigerator body opened at the front, and the specific low temperature chamber is formed at the inside lower part of the refrigerating chamber with partition plates separately from the refrigerating chamber at the upper part. The article placement shelves and the partition plates are formed in detachable shelf plate structures of the same configuration. As a result, a problem with a conventional refrigerator wherein when liquid matter and adhesive matter stored in the refrigerating chamber at the upper part dripped on the partition plates, the dripped liquid matter and adhesive matter were solidified on the partition plates after time was elapsed and the wiping thereof became difficult and the cleaning of the liquid matter and adhesive matter became difficult.
