PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure in which installation of an outer wall material to a joint column is facilitated, a good appearance is obtained by positioning a joint member in a joint portion between the outer wall materials and a fall is prevented from occurring after installation. SOLUTION: According to the joint structure a joint receiving material 1 fixed to the joint column 8 is made of a hard rubber or a rubbery elastic body, and consists of a plate portion 3 and a fitting portion 5 protruded from the center of the plate portion. The plate portion 3 has lips 6 protruded therefrom. The fitting portion 5 has a U-shaped cross section, and has a fitting groove 5c which has claws 5b at its opening edges. The outer wall material 9 arranged on the plate portion 3 on both sides of the fitting portion 5 in a manner butting against the fitting portion 5, has a fixing portion 12 protruded from an end face thereof, which fixing portion is fitted into a notch 4 in the fitting portion 5, and then fixed to the joint column 8 via the plate portion 3 by a screw 13. Thereafter a gasket 2 is mounted in the joint portion between the outer wall materials, and a protrusion 2c is fitted into the fitting groove 5c, followed by engaging hook portions 2d with the respective claws 5b in a locking manner.
