PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thumb-turn connecting mechanism capable of increasing a degree of matching between a thumb-turn shaft and a dead cam and serving also as the center rest of a lock case. SOLUTION: A small diameter section of a stepped connection plug 15 is fitted to a recessed section of a cam supporting member 14 from the outside of the lock case 1, a pair of mounting levers 21 and 21 are horizontally inserted therein to lock the connection plug 15 with the lock case 1, an adjusting cup 24 is screwed on a male screw section formed in a large diameter section of the connection plug, the bottom of the adjusting cup 24 is brought into contact with the inside of a door outside plate 25 by adjusting these screwing conditions, and the connection plug 15 is fixed to the door outside plate 25 by mounting screws 12 and 12 from an indoor side in this state.
