Data packets for different connections are routed in a container with its own numbering and its transmission repeats controlled by a second transmission repeating protocol (TRP). A first TRP can be reset. If the first TRP is reset, information about the reset is sent to the second TRP regarding the first TRP's reset. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A data-transmission system for transmitting data packets for different connections; (b) and for a mobile station/telephone for transmitting data packets for different connections; (c) and for a base station for transmitting data packets for different connections.
