PURPOSE: A mobile terminal for analyzing a Morse code by using a camera and its method are provided to allow a user who has no knowledge of a Morse code to make communication with the other party by recognizing the Morse code and displaying a corresponding message on an LCD. CONSTITUTION: A user turns on a camera by pressing a key pad of a mobile terminal(S300). The camera converts an optical signal inputted through a sensor during a certain time into an electric signal(S302). The optical signal is a Morse code outputted from a mobile terminal of the other party. The mobile terminal converts the electric signal into a corresponding message(S304). The mobile terminal displays the corresponding message on an LCD(S306).
