<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo control system which can converge on an optimal value with a simple means. <P>SOLUTION: The device is equipped with an emitting device 50 for emitting a wave from an oscillating source, a system in which an emitted wave hits an object 40 and is reflected and its reflection is guided, and a detector 45 for receiving the guided wave. The device is also equipped with a control device 52 and a drive unit means 60 for automatically adjusting an emitting direction of the wave to an optimal direction against the object 40 in accordance with an output signal for the above detector 45. The control device 52 obtains a gradient by differentiating an evaluation function for finding out the optimal direction and includes a control part for discriminating the maximum value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
