HEAD PART PROTECTING AIR BAG

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head part protecting air bag capable of properly protecting the head of an occupant sitting on a front seat.

SOLUTION: This air bag 20 is provided with an expansion part 21 for the front seat capable of covering a window on the side of the front seat of a vehicle at the time of expansion completion with inflow of gas G for expansion. The air bag 20 is provided with a tether 25 connected to a vehicle inside wall part 22 and a vehicle outside wall part 23 so that an isolation distance of wall parts 22 and 23 each other of the vehicle inside and the vehicle outside in the expansion part 21 for the front seat may be regulated. The expansion part 21 for the front seat at the time of the expansion completion is constituted to successively thicken thickness in a vehicle inside and outside direction by the tether 25 in an area of a straight line LT toward at least a rear oblique upper side from a lower part 21d side of a front part 21a side.
