<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ankle supporter that sliplessly fixes the ankle in an appropriate position, can apply a stable support and an appropriate pressure and is easy to operate and easy to handle. <P>SOLUTION: The ankle supporter has a cylindrical member 1 covering a part of the ankle and a part of the instep, and a tension means 6 applying a tensile force in the direction reaching the other external side of the cylindrical member 1 through the part corresponding to the sole of the cylindrical member 1 from one external side of the cylindrical member 1.
