<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical amusement system that enables even a beginner who can not understand a musical score to easily enjoy playing an electronic musical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: In the musical amusement system, each note of musical score information is characterized in the shape of an apple or the like in accordance with performance data, and displayed on a display screen of a display and scrolled in a prescribed direction. A line L2 indicating the timing to operate a performance information input means is displayed across the scroll direction, and the display shape of the character is changed in accordance with the duration of the notes or the like.
