<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-substituted alicyclic group-containing (meth)acrylic ester as a raw material for hard and low-refractive index optical materials with high glass transition temperature, to provide a composition containing the same, and to provide a cured product obtained from the composition. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorine-substituted alicyclic group-containing (meth)acrylic ester is represented by chemical formula(I)[ wherein, (C<SB>p</SB>H<SB>q</SB>F<SB>r</SB>) is an alicyclic group where p is 3-10, q is 0-4 and r is 2-18; x is 0-8; y is 0-4; z is 2-6; R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-10C straight-chain or branched alkyl or fluoroalkyl; and R<SP>2</SP>is H or methyl ]. The composition, which is polymerizable, contains the (meth)acrylic ester.
