PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid absorbing member which can make a liquid evenly absorbed in the whole of absorbing materials. SOLUTION: The liquid absorbing member has the absorbing materials of a block shape with a width, a depth and a height, grooved passages formed in the depth direction to be adjacent in the width direction at the absorbing materials, and gate-like partition walls set to block a flow of the liquid in the depth direction in the grooved passages.
