PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk control method which can deal with disk ejection during high-speed rotation by detecting disk rotation more accurately. SOLUTION: In the method, edge spacing for a waveform signal, which is obtained by digitalizing RF signal read from the disk, is measured while spindle rotation for a spindle motor for rotating the disk is reduced, and the disk is ejected by an ejection signal outputted when the edge spacing for the waveform signal, which is obtained by digitalizing the RF signal measured, reaches to a specific value.
