PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker allowing a user to easily and safely put a cooking plate into or out of a heating chamber. SOLUTION: A microwave oven 1 comprises a range cooking square plate 80 on which foods are placed, having an outer periphery portion supported at its right and left sides on rails 101, 103 in the heating chamber 10. The rails 101, 103 are located lower than the lower end of the outer periphery portion of the range cooking square plate 80 near a door 3 and continuously higher as tending toward the corner of the heating chamber 10. Thus, when the range cooking square plate 80 in the state of being supported by the door 3 is pushed toward the corner of the heating chamber 10 in the horizontal direction by the user, the outer periphery portion automatically moved upward while being guided by the rials 101, 103.
