PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize easy selection of a desired program even when a plurality of persons use a receiver in common. SOLUTION: A main controller 21 stores user names as users' individual information and each user's program information in a memory 15. When a user selects the user name, the main controller 21 responds to this, controls an external memory I/F 29, and reads out the selected user's program information from the memory 15. The main controller 21 creates an individual program table using the read-out program information.
