PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability because the operability is not so good in preparing a preprepared mail and information to be transmitted when the mail and the information are automatically transmitted or received on a designated date and time. SOLUTION: A main control part 250 makes a schedule managing part 266 display a scheduler and store a "transmission date", "transmission time", "recording contents", "the telephone number of a destination", or the like beforehand in a storing part 264 on the basis of an input performed by a user. The main control part 250 makes an operation input control part 252 connect a line on the basis of an instruction of the schedule managing part 266, starts to connect to the "telephone number of the destination" stored in the storing part 264 and registered in a database, transmits a speech signal of the "recording contents" registered in the database when the telephone number is connected, and repeats a connection trial every prescribed period of time until the telephone number is connected if the telephone number is not connected. This can automatically transmit a prestored speech signal to a designated opposite transmission party on a designated date and time to improve the operability.
