<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact cooling structure of a blade server having high cooling effect. <P>SOLUTION: The blade server is equipped with a chassis, and both surfaces and a face plate of each of a plurality of blades are so disposed in the chassis as to be set vertical to the front part and the rear part of the chassis. A plurality of the blades each have at least one server blade. One or more fans are arranged at least in either one of the front part and the rear part of the chassis, and passages at least in either one sides of the one or more entrances and exits thereof are set parallel with both the surfaces and the face plate of each of a plurality of the blades. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
