PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending method capable of preventing cracks from occurring in bending stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate. SOLUTION: The bending method is for bending stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate yielded by cutting raw sheet glass having a stainless steel net sealed therein. The stainless-steel-wire-sealed glass plate is bent in such a state that there is no carbon having attached to a part of the net having appeared in cutting the raw sheet glass, exposed at the end face of the sheet glass, and apart from the cutting surface by at least 20 mm.
