<p>Quaternary ammonium salts represented by the general formula (1): {(R<1>)a(R<2>)b(R<3>)c(R<4>OCH2CH2OCH2CH2)dN}<+>.A<-> (1) wherein R<1>, R<2> and R<3> are each independently alkyl having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkyloxyethyl represented by the general formula (2): R<5>OCH2CH2- (2) (wherein R<5 >is methyl or ethyl); R<4> is methyl or ethyl; or any two of R<1>, R<2>, and R<3> may be united at the ends to form alkylene; a, b, and c are each an integer of 0 to 3; d is an integer of 1 to 4; the sum of a, b, and c is 3 or below and the sum of a, b, c, and d is 4; and A<-> is a bistrifluoromethylsulfonylimidate ion [N(SO2CF3)2<->], a tetra- fluoroborate ion (BF4<->), or a hexafluorophosphate ion (PF6<->).</p> |
