A sun shade system for a double glazed window has the blind (16) and support roller fitted inside the sealed space and without any mechanical connection to the outside. The servo drive (46) comprises a drive rotor with segmented radial magnetic poles positioned on the outside of the glass and parallel with a similar driven rotor fitted to the roller of the internal blind. The magnetic poles on both rotors can be alternating north and south poles, or all the poles have the same polarity on both rotors. The drive is reversible with the driven rotor linked to a servo motor via a reduction gearing.
