This invention concerns an ornamental item particularly a pendant having a decorative part (100) and at least one movable fastening part (400). The decorative part (100) includes a groove (104) ending in the form of an abutment (180) in which is introduced, until it stops, the movable part (400) which is immobilized by the weight of said decorative part (100) the latter being loose. It includes an upper edge (108) from where the groove starts (104), and at least one lateral part (151) in which said groove (104) ends in a housing (109), which has an abutment (180). The movable part (400) has a ring (401) on its upper part particularly allowing a chain link to be introduced into its centre (402), of a cone (405) whose circular base (404) is visible at the front of the pendant (100) and is used as a complementary decorative element, of a cylindrical rod (403) to hold the cone (405) by means of a curve (450). The object of this invention is in perfect harmony with the shapes of the piece of jewellery. It is discreet, simple in its functioning, safe and integrates into the design of the piece of jewellery without dominating it visually.
