PURPOSE: A method and a system for settling an online micro-transaction using a chargeable transportation card are provided to enable a customer to pay the online micro-transaction at a transportation card charger as post payment after performing the online micro-transaction through the simple information input. CONSTITUTION: A contents provider server(20) sells contents through the Internet(40) and is connected to a transportation card settlement system server(30) through the Internet. The transportation card settlement system server functions as a gateway for sharing transportation card certification, transaction data, and post payment data. Ddatabases(32,33) store the transportation card certification data, the transaction data received from the contents provider server, and the post payment data received from a transportation card company server(50). The transportation card company server performs the transportation card certification and the post payment, and is connected to the transportation card settlement system server. |
