<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suitable technique for transferring an address about an article on a network to a desired party together with the picture of the article, after recognizing the address from its picture containing the address as an image. <P>SOLUTION: A commodity 34 gaining the favor of a client 40 and a site information plate 36 having the described URL of a sales site 20 for selling the commodity 34 are separately photographed by a digital camera 44. The URL is recognized from the picture of the site information plate 36, the recognized URL and a picture of the commodity 34 are printed on a postal card using a USB-connected printer 46, and the postal card 48 is mailed to a friend 50.
