<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency power converter by maintaining a zero-voltage switching of a primary inverter over the entire range of a commercial period irrespective of input and output conditions including the fluctuation of an input voltage or output electric power. <P>SOLUTION: In an inverter comprising the first switching element 18 and the resonance capacitor 17 that makes a collector voltage resonate when the first switching element 18 is turned off, this power converter normally performs the zero-voltage switching by dividing a DC input voltage by a first capacitor 19 and a second capacitor 20 and by drawing out the accumulated energy of a resonance capacitor 17 with a boosting means 21 connected between the second capacitor 20 and a first switching element 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
