<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a clearance between a detection area by a radio wave and a detection area by light to solve a problem in an insensitive area, in a human body detecting compound sensor using the radio wave and the light for an automatic door. <P>SOLUTION: The radio wave area for detecting a body is formed in a position distant from the door by a radio wave transceiving part. The light area for detecting the body is formed in a position along the door by a light projecting and receiving part 20.
