PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer control system by which software of an MPU installed in slave devices (equipment) is updated in a maximally short time, concerning the slave devices serially connected to a high-order master device (an information controller) with serial transmission cables. SOLUTION: The master device 20 simultaneously transmits by multi-address block data obtained by dividing program data one by one to the slave devices 24-1 to 24-10, and then, transmits confirmation data from the master device 20 to the slave device 24-1 at the point of time when the block data are written in the flash ROM 62 of the slave device 24-1. Then the first slave device 24-1 returns response data when confirmation data are received. After the confirmation data are transmitted, the master device 20 repeats the transmission of the confirmation data to the succeeding slave device 24-2 after receiving the response data.
