PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holder device that can be made simple in shape and be securely and easily mounted at reduced cost. SOLUTION: Holder devices 31, 61, 81, 101 are for detachably mounting a halved article sample body 16 in a standing position in an opening 27 formed in a display stand 13. Mounting parts 33, 63, 83, 102 for detachably fitting into the opening 27 are formed at the bottoms of the holder devices and flanged parts 32, 62, 82, 103 for supporting the holder devices 31, 61, 81, 101 are formed over the mounting parts 33, 63, 83, 102. Retaining parts 33, 85, 102, 104 for pressing and retaining the bottom 23 of the article sample body 16 from the interior of the article sample body 16 are formed in positions opposite to counter retaining parts 27a, 84, 103 opposite to the outside of the article sample body 16.
