PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device having excellent water and dust resistances, and materializes a long seal life and low torque, and a bearing device for a wheel with the same. SOLUTION: The sealing device 1 seals an annular space between an outside member 7 and inside member 4 which is relatively rotated. An elastic seal 3 is mounted onto the outside member 7 on the fixing side. A sectionally L-shaped and annular seal plate 2 opposed to the elastic seal 3 is press-fitted in the inside member 4 on the rotating side. The elastic seal 3 is provided so as to be radially outwardly inclined to a tip, and mutually separated into the inside and outside in the radial direction. The elastic seal 3 includes two side lips 6a, 6b coming into slide contact with a standing plate 2b of the seal plate 2, and a radial lip 6c coming into slide contact with the outer radial surface 4a of the inside member 4.
