PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight ceramic laminate which presents an external appearance approximate to a natural stone and has neither gloss nor slipperiness and which is excellent in construction properties due to the light weight and suitable for a floor of a balcony/a bathroom or the like. SOLUTION: The lightweight ceramic laminate is a laminate of a compact ceramic layer as a surface material and a foamed ceramic, and the surface structure of the compact ceramic layer is formed by transfer of a release material surface provided on the bottom of a firing molding frame and has non-gloss and slide-resistant characteristics. A material powder for the compact ceramic layer is spread in an even thickness over all the bottom of the firing molding frame whereon the release material is laid, and then a material powder for the foamed ceramic layer is spread all over thereon. In this state, the powder is melted by heating at the melting temperature thereof or above, while the material powder for the foamed ceramic layer is foamed. The compact layer and the foamed layer are welded together on the joining interface thereof and laminated integrally, while the surface of the compact layer is formed by the transfer of the state of the bottom of the firing frame.
