PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a cap body at a low cost and rationally, and at the same time, to further improve the appearance of an ornamental part when the ornamental part for which the cap body is used is constituted. SOLUTION: A hollow spherical body for which a through hole is respectively provided at symmetrical positions becoming a central axis is divided and cut in two at a position tilting at 10 to 60°to the central axis of the through holes, and two semi-spherical cap bodies having one through hole at a location closer to the end edge part are obtained. By this method, wastes in the material are eliminated, and the manufacturing method becomes rational. In addition, when the ornamental part using this cap body is constituted, an exposed area for a natural stone or the like from the cap body becomes sufficient, and the back surface area of the cap body increases as the exposed area of the natural stone or the like on the cap body front surface side becomes larger, and the ornamental part which is even richer in beauty as the whole of the ornamental part can be obtained.
