PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spectacle lens working device which can easily check the lens shape size of a worked lens and easily re-work the lens when the size is large. SOLUTION: The spectacle lens working device for working the periphery of a spectacle lens based on the lens shape data includes: a working pressure control means for controlling a working pressure for pressing the lens against a whetstone; a center distance detecting means for detecting the center distance between the rotation axis of the lens and the rotation axis of the whetstone; a control means for stopping the rotation of the whetstone after completion of working the lens, rotating the lens while pressing it against the whetstone and controlling the working pressure control means to reduce the working pressure lower than that during the working; and a lens shape size detecting means for detecting the lens shape size of the lens rotated by the control means based on the output signal from the center distance detecting means.
