PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device by which a stubborn deposition strongly stuck to the surface of a work can efficiently be removed without damaging print applied to the base of the deposition and the surface of the work. SOLUTION: The cleaning device is provided with a work conveyance means 3 of conveying a work 1, storage parts 15 and 27 for a cleaning liquid, spray nozzles 11 of spraying the cleaning liquid, and high pressure pumps 20 and 21 of feeding the cleaning liquid from the storage part 15 to the spray nozzles 11. The space between the high pressure pumps 20 and 21 and the spray nozzles 11 is provided with switching means 22 and 23 of flowing the cleaning liquid to either the spray nozzles 11 or the storage part 27, and the switching means 22 and 23 are switched in such a manner that the cleaning liquid which has been flowed to the spray nozzles 11 on the stop of the conveyance of the work 1 is flowed to the storage part 27.
