The invention relates to a standard bicycle which can be easily transported in a car boot owing to the following components, namely: a frame comprising (i) a section (3, 4)-connector system which is equipped with a fitting having an axial bore for the movement of an automatic bolt and (ii) a device (13) for connecting the brake and derailleur cables, such that the frame can be disassembled and reassembled in an instant; a handlebar stem (46) which can be oriented by manoeuvring a lever in order immediately to position the handlebars parallel to the front wheel, such that said handlebars have a minimum amount of clearance; and pedals (77) which can be quickly folded down against the cranks of the crankset, such that said pedals have the minimum clearance width. |
