PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively carry out moisture retention of the skin according to an effective method for ingesting so as to make a ceramide act as an active ingredient, especially synergistic effects by orally ingesting simultaneously with other substances because it is necessary to provide moisture retention in the skin for dealing with dry skin and moisture maintenance with especially keratin intercellular lipid (the ceramide, etc.) among the stratum corneum is important through the population of the dry skin (the so-called dry skin) is increased by effects of a change in living environment, etc., and the dry skin is recently frequently seen even in young females tending to carry out excessive defatting in order to intend for the cleanness.

SOLUTION: A composition for moisture retention of the skin comprises the ceramide and theanine as active ingredients. A food for moisture retention of the skin comprises the ceramide and theanine in a food.
