PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact air pump hardly causing pulsation. SOLUTION: The air pump includes an air-pump body 3 of an electromagnetic-vibration diaphragm type discharging alternately compressed air from right and left pump chambers 22, and a casing 2 for airtightly holding the air-pump body 3. The casing 2 is provided with right and left air-chambers 28 storing compressed air discharged from the right and left pump chambers 22, and air suction ports 6a, 12f for letting air into the pump chambers, a straightening path 27 for allowing the right and left air chambers to communicate with each other to straighten and integrate the compressed air in the air chambers, and a discharge port 31 which is provided in the center of the straightening path and discharges the straightened compressed air.
