摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve practical use as a support tool for design/development by shortening the time required for an operation therefor while sufficiently enhancing accuracy of simulation in a predicting analyzing system A for predicting engine performance by performing the simulation for simulating a state of operating gas reaching up to a part of an exhaust system from a part of at least an intake system of an engine. SOLUTION: A flow of intake-exhaust air is described by a unidimensional and three-dimensional CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) operation in intake and exhaust strokes in the simulation of, for example, a four-cycle engine. While, the operating gas of at least a combustion chamber is simulated in compression and expansion strokes by nitrogen, oxygen, hydrocarbon and carbon dioxide gas, and an operation of a reaction formula is performed (chemical reaction SIM). A component of the operating gas in the initial stage of a compression process used for the chemical reaction SIM is read in from a chemical reaction DB 12 on the basis of a result of the CFD operation in the intake stroke (result processing *1). An initial state of exhaust gas in the CFD operation is determined on the basis of the result of the chemical reaction SIM in the compression and expansion strokes (result processing 2).
