PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for detecting a decrease in air pressure highly precisely even when the air pressure of respective tires decrease simultaneously, under a requirement for low cost. SOLUTION: A vehicle equipped with a detecting device 1 for a tire air pressure decrease has four wheels consisting of a left front wheel T1, a right front wheel T2, a left rear wheel T3, and a right rear wheel T4. The left front wheel T1 and the right front wheel T2 are connected via a wheel shaft 3, while the left rear wheel T3 and the right rear wheel T4 are connected via a wheel shaft 4. The detecting device 1 inputs respective vehicle speed pulses of the front wheels T1, T2 and of the rear wheels T3, T4 in a controller 2 via wheel speed sensors S1 to S4, and also inputs information of vehicle's position acquired from a GPS receiver 5 in the controller. The controller 2 judges whether or not an air decrease is occurring as it calculates or compensates the acquired figures of the vehicle speed pulses and position information, and outputs a judged result.
