PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of increasing driving thrust of a wiper arm without increasing fuse breaking capacity or enlarging the wire diameter of a wiper arm. SOLUTION: When an ON signal is input from an ignition inspection circuit 12 and a Hi mode (high-speed rotation mode) is selected for the rotating speed of a wiper motor 1 in a wiper switch circuit 11, a control circuit 10 controls a second switch element 9 to allow the rotating speed of the wiper motor 1 to be a Lo mode (low-speed rotation mode). Accordingly even when the wiper motor 1 is set to the Hi mode in turning on an ignition switch, the wiper motor 1 can be automatically driven under the Lo mode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
