The non-return valve is fitted on a pump in the clarification chamber below an aquarium, especially for marine fish. It comprises a tubular upper section (20) with an offset water outlet (21) which fits on to a tubular lower section (30) with an offset water inlet (31). A swiveling valve flap (34) is mounted in the chamber between the two sections.
