The table frame has several longitudinal tubes (1) with a rectangular cross section, whereby on the upper edge of a wide side and a narrow side of each longitudinal tube holes (2,3) are provided by which the threaded holes (5) of an endpiece (4) are brought into alignment. The holes of the longitudinal tube are brought into alignment with the holes (8) of two connecting pieces (7) so that the connecting pieces can be screwed to the longitudinal tube and end piece. The connecting pieces in a wide side have threaded holes for a cross tube (11) and can be fitted in the cross tube.
