The invention relates to a device for gripping and installing a pump comprising (i) a hollow cylindrical housing, with a feed and discharge line opening thereinto for the liquid to be dosed, and (ii) a coaxial piston which can move in translation inside the aforementioned cylindrical housing. The inventive gripping device comprises an element which is used to grip the cylindrical housing of the pump and an element which is used to grip the piston thereof.
