RUBBER COMPOSITION, CROSSLINKABLE RUBBER COMPOSITIONS, AND CROSSLINKED ARTICLES

A rubber composition comprising (1) a diene rubber, (2) silica, and (3) an epoxidized liquid diene rubber having a number-average molecular weight of 10000 to 100000, characterized in that the contents of silica (2) and the epoxidized liquid diene rubber (3) are 0.1 to 150 parts by mass and 0.1 to 30 parts by mass respectively per 100 parts by mass of the diene rubber (1); crosslinkable rubber compositions characterized by comprising the rubber composition and a crosslinking agent; and crosslinked articles made by crosslinking the crosslinkable rubber compositions. The rubber composition is improved in the dispersibility of silica as observed in incorporating silica into a diene rubber and is excellent in processability and mechanical properties after crosslinking.
