PURPOSE: A method for screening anti-aging materials by using cell culture is provided, thereby effectively measuring the anti-aging efficacy of natural materials and synthetic substances, and easily developing anti-aging materials used for functional medicines, food and cosmetics. CONSTITUTION: The method for screening anti-aging materials by using cell culture comprises the steps of: culturing human embryonic fibroblast; extracting a presumptive material having anti-aging and aging-delaying activity; treating the presumptive material with human embryonic fibroblast to determine the increase or decrease of maximum division number of the presumptive material; and analyzing the expression of acidic β-galactosidase(SA β-gal) after the cell division, wherein the measurement of anti-aging is carried out by measuring maximum cell division number, growth rate, growth period or aging time.
