<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a periphery surface of an electrifying roll (8) from being pressed to the periphery surface of the rotating drum (6) before a process unit is loaded to an image forming machine and actually used by applying a simple operation to the process unit without necessitating the dissembling of the process unit which is assembled as specified, and to assure a state of the periphery surface of the electrifying roll being pressed to the periphery surface of the rotating drum as specified by applying the simple operation to the process unit when the process unit is loaded to the image forming machine. <P>SOLUTION: In the process unit, separation members (40), which separate the periphery surface of the electrifying roll from the periphery surface of the rotating roll against the elastic deflecting effect of an elastic deflecting means (10), are interposed freely detachably in each of both ends of the rotating drum and the electrifying roll. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
