PREMIXED COMPRESSION IGNITION ENGINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a premixed compression ignition engine 100 capable of executing stable premixed compression ignition operation by sufficiently raising supercharged pressure of a turbo supercharger 40 while sufficiently making use of energy of an exhaust gas.

SOLUTION: The premixed compression ignition engine comprises a generator motor 45 capable of transmitting and receiving power to/from a rotary shaft 43 of the turbo supercharger 40, a supercharged pressure adjusting means 26 capable of adjusting supercharged pressure of a compressor 41 by adjusting the power of the generator motor 45, and a control means 25a for controlling the supercharged pressure of the compressor 41 so that self-ignition of a fuel/air mixture is performed in a combustion chamber 2 by operating the supercharged pressure adjusting means 26 in the premixed compression ignition operation.
