PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of surely eliminating only unneeded images. SOLUTION: When an image elimination mode is set, an image list picture in which index images of images recorded in a memory card are displayed in a list is displayed on a first LCD panel. Also, an elimination image list picture obtained by moving index images selected as an elimination object in the image list picture and displaying the index images in a list is simultaneously displayed on a second LCD panel. In the elimination image list picture, by selecting an index image displayed in the picture, selection as an elimination object is released, and the index image is eliminated from the elimination object list and displayed again in the image list picture. The elimination image list picture is provided with an elimination performance icon, and the icon is selected to thereby eliminate image data corresponding to the index image displayed in the elimination image list picture as an elimination object from a memory card 26.
