EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURING BY CONTINUOUS VACUUM FORMING COMPOSITE BOARD HAVING THREE-DIMENSIONAL FORM LINKED APART WITH SPACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment which is for cheaply manufacturing a composite board by continuous vacuum forming which has recessed or projecting-shaped cubes by a thermoplastic hard resin formed in line and which is contrived so as not to form a straight line in joint walls or continuing grooves of the three-dimensional forms through either facing or contiguous arms when the shaped board is cut into unit boards. SOLUTION: A shaping base is fabricated of a metal plate having pores in which a multiplicity of recessed or projecting-shaped cubes forming joint walls or communicating grooves with a certain space stand in line, and this is attached and fixed consecutively onto a cylindrical or polyhedral roll communicating with an air suction mechanism and turn round. Or, many shaping bases are connected into a belt strip and stretched between two cylindrical drums with the air suction apparatus being set in the lower part and turn. In both the cases a sheet of a molten thermoplastic hard resin is put into contact with the roll or the belt to perform vacuum forming, and one or both sides of it are laminated with a heat adhesive sheet. A three-dimensional form that forms no straight line through shaped joint walls or communicating grooves when the continuously shaped board is made into the unit boards and a shaping base having such an arrangement thereof are selected and conjoined.
