PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a battery which is superior in productivity and made in an appropriate dry condition. SOLUTION: This is a manufacturing method of a battery that has a process in which an electrode plate is manufactured, a power generating element is manufactured by laminating the electrode plate and a separator, and by inserting the power generating element in a container and filling a non-aqueous electrolyte, the container is sealed, and has a drying process before the sealing process. The moisture absorption quantity of the constituent of the battery manufactured up to the drying process corresponding to the storage condition between the drying process and the next process is estimated, and if the moisture absorption quantity is estimated to be greater than a specified value, the drying process is carried out once again, and if it is estimated to be smaller than the specified value, the battery is proceeded to the next process.
